Driving to far places can be tiring but you can have the option to ride a bus. There many options for convenient traveling and a bus is one of them.
In the old days, traveling was never that easy nor efficient. Before the 1800’s, steam cars were invented but not everyone could afford, but later on the horse bus or horse-drawn omnibus was introduced and people in the city were able to transport to other areas quite conveniently. This “bus” is carried by one or two horses with the driver seating at the front of a cabin that is enclosed has side benches inside. Unlike today’s design of double decker buses, in the past, the bus had to be pulled by three horses and some people had to seat on top of the enclosed cabin without a top cover and are seating with their backs at each other.
Nowadays, we see horse carriage rides as fun and exciting but in the past it was the only means of transport to most people and they had to deal with many inconvenience. Horses can get really smelly and cranky. The heavy load and long hours of travel can tire horses and this can slow down the travel time. What’s worse is that horse bus halted its service when the horse flu spread.
In the late 19th century, another public transportation was introduced which was the cable car. Although it was efficient and wonderfully designed, the operational costs were too much and officials were worried for the safety of the passengers.
Next to cable car was the trolley bus. The trolley bus was designed in which it was guided through the rails on the streets and has routes set in different areas where passengers can drop off or ride. With this type of system invented, the workplace in the city improved as more people from the country side started to travel and work in the city. The city’s economy increased due to these revolutionary changes and with the improving industry. Some cities today still have street cars being used by netizens.
As years passed by, transportation became more convenient with the introduction of motorized buses. With this invention, the number of people commuting increased. Bus companies then started to change their bus designs by increasing the size and seats to accommodate more passengers.
Life in the city can get very busy every single day. A big city like New York have over 2 million bus passengers daily. Another big city, Chicago, has a record of 19,000 trips of buses every day.
The huge number of people riding on the bus every day can get you thinking if the bus gets cleaned right after.
It is essential to keep the environment inside the bus clean and for this to be possible, a bus wash company can be very helpful. To effectively clean the bus, it must be done a good bus wash company. People want to ride a bus that is clean, and this demand can be provided by a bus wash company.
